The Unexpected Lessons of Mexican Food

When I read an article about food and especially Mexican food, I find it very easy to read because it is about one of my favorite foods. It also keeps my mind rolling through the times when I last ate Mexican food, and makes me hungry as well.
While I was reading the text it brought back memories of me when I was young and my parents would be cooking in the kitchen. I would always be in there way trying to help them and ask questions. I thought that I was doing a good job but really I wasn't. Even now when I try to bake something, my little brother is always trying to help and get in my way.

When I got to the end of the story they started talking about Chipotle. Chipotle is my favorite Mexican fast food restaurant, because the atmosphere is good and the food is amazing. It also reminds me of summertime with my friends. We would always go there for supper after a night out.

In the summer at home my dad always grows a garden. We grow fresh vegetables and spices in it to make fresh foods. Fresh vegetables are always the best because, they are crisp and crunchy. He is out there everyday tendering the garden and making sure everything is growing good.

This read by far was one of my favorites in college. It was easy to read and understand because I really enjoyed the topic. The author uses imagery to paint a picture in your head of the different scenes in the article. I also really enjoyed learning about a different culture and how the grow up cooking. It was really fascinating and interesting.
